I am always on the lookout for dresses that I can wear during the day and then some that are a bit more glam for going out in an evening. Today I’ve been taking a look at Fashion World to see what they have to offer and I’ve come up with five gorgeous day dresses and five stunning dresses for going out. Read more

Staying Warm and Dry with Joules

Fashion/ Review/ Shopping

I adore Joules so when I was asked if I would like to work with them on a review I obviously jumped at the chance! I was treated to a pair of gorgeous wellies and a lovely quilted jacket and I am over the moon with them! Firstly let me show you the wellies I was sent…

I haven’t owned a pair of wellies since I was a child, I’ve been meaning to get some and the last ones I tried on were too tight round my calves so it was just something that got put to the bottom of my list. I actually squealed like a girl when I tried these on because they fit!! I was actually amazed at that because my feet are a wide size 8/9 and these are a standard 8 fit, I was worried they wouldn’t fit me but they do and I just LOVE them SO much! Joules do so many gorgeous wellies and my little girl has got some too which I bought her last year!

The wellies are £39.95 which I think is a really good price for a great quality pair of wellies! With all the rain we have been having recently they have been tested in a lot of puddles all ready and my feet have remained perfectly dry at all times… I just need to treat myself to a pair of their snuggly welly socks now!

With new details to give it an even more stylish look and feel, our favourite quilted jacket has been given a breath of fresh air. On the side of the jacket we’ve shrunk the size of the traditional diamond quilt to give the appearance of a very complementary shape. Finished with authentic brass poppers and a stunning printed lining.

I love the jacket so much! It is warm and totally practical for going on walks with the kids, it’s light and not too bulky which is great, it doesn’t have a hood though for those unexpected showers so I now need to treat myself to a lovely umbrella to go with it 😉 It is zip and popper fastening and covers my neck when zipped right up, I hate getting a cold neck so this perfect if I forget my scarf!

The jacket currently sells at £89.95 and I would be happy to pay that for it. It is fantastic quality and I can see it lasting me years! This particular jacket comes in either black, navy, dark saddle, gold and everglade. It is fully machine washable too which is perfect! I hate getting jackets home to find out they are dry clean only. When you are carrying a toddler around with muddy wellies on quite often jackets do tend to get quite messy 😉

I would highly recommend both of these products :O)

* I was sent both items free of charge for the purpose of this post. I truly do love them both 🙂

Fashion/ My Inner Girl's Picks.../ Shopping

It’s that time of year when the early morning school run is getting pretty nippy and with my own coat looking a bit worn now after a good few years I really need to find a new one that I love and will last just as well as the last one! I  love really good quality, well fitting winter coats so I’ve been on the search again and found these beauties…

35 and don’t know how to dress myself!

I cannot believe it has taken me this long to be interested in dressing myself, I have never had a clue what to wear, what to look for or what suits me! I can’t believe I have never CARED!!

Last night I sat at my pc and decided to do some research into this! Firstly someone on twitter told me that Evans will let you type in your measurements and tell you what shape you are!! I’m an APPLE shape people!!! This helped me so much when I went to google and typed in ‘How to dress for an apple shaped figure’ everything just fell right into place! The clothes I were seeing were all made for ME!!! You have no idea how good it felt for me to me listening to people on YouTube talk about me and my shape and tell me what looks good and what doesn’t! I have even started my own Pinterest board especially for Apple shapes! Granted it doesn’t have that much on it right now but it will!
