Yesterday we headed to Lakeside Arts in Nottingham for their 2016 Christmas production Beasty Baby. We watched Neverland at Lakeside last year and thoroughly enjoyed it so were very excited to get invited to watch Beasty Baby. Read more
Today we headed to Warwick Castle for some spooky Halloween fun. This was our first visit to Warwick Castle and we were very impressed with what we saw and would love to go back to discover more in future.
This half term (22-31 Oct) Warwick castle has been transformed into The Haunted Castle with six new spine tingling attractions. To make it even more scary Warwick Castle is open until 9pm each night too!
This August we had the opportunity to visit all four of the SeaWorld Parks in Florida, we had such an amazing time and I wrote about all of them separately on our return but today I wanted to give you our top 10 reasons why you should visit the SeaWorld Parks. We all loved each of the parks and if you are planning a trip to Florida then we would highly recommend you add them to your itinerary. The last (but by no means the least) park we visited during our week in Florida was Discovery Cove, which is just the most amazing place to visit! If you are looking to escape from everything and cross a few things off your bucket list then Discovery Cove is the place to go. Discovery Cove is an all-inclusive day out so once inside you don’t have to worry about a thing. Breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks for the day are included. Also covered are wetsuits, snorkelling gear, towels, lockers, sunscreen and self-parking. Read more
Last week we headed to Alton Towers Waterpark for a day of fun before the little ones had to go back to school. They are both water babies and just love swimming, I have been meaning to take them since it opened so they were absolutely over the moon when I told them where we were going. Daddy was going to come to but was called into work at the last minute so it was just me and the kids. Read more
The third park we visited during our week in Orlando was Busch Gardens, now Busch Gardens isn’t actually in Orlando it is in Tampa but do not let this put you off as it is well worth the hour drive to get there. Busch Gardens has something for absolutely everyone; it has a fantastic mix of family rides, rollercoasters and animal encounters that will have you going back again and again. We found that Busch Gardens was the best fit for our family. Myself, Boo and Bugs had our best ride experience of the week here while Daddy found that Mako at SeaWorld just could not be beaten 😉 So without further ado here are our highlights from our day at Busch Gardens… Read more
The second park we visited during our week in Florida was Aquatica. Aquatica is SeaWorld’s Waterpark and is just across the street from SeaWorld on International Drive. Aquatica was without a doubt mine & Bugs’ favourite park of the week. We are both water babies and would spend all day swimming if we could; although I was very apprehensive about going on some of the water slides as I have never been on anything quite like some of the rides at Aquatica. Bugs was overjoyed that he was old enough to go on all of the rides! Read more
