I’m a photographer – I can take beautiful photos of my children, yet I always seem to be snapping them on my iPhone! It’s been a good year or so since I got my proper cameras out of my work bag at home and I really hate myself for it!
I have made a promise to myself now that at least once a month I am going to get the big guns out and start taking beautiful photos instead of just poor quality instagram snaps!
Here are the first two that I wanted to share that I took this week, nothing really special but just my kids how I know them today.
These capture them both so well and I love them! I’m redoing my gallery in my dining room and these are the first two that will be going up on the wall!
I’m so excited to have rediscovered the love for my camera again – I lost it for a while, it just became work, and I didn’t want to bring work home with me if you see what I mean.
These two photos just inspire me to take more, so hopefully I’ll be sharing lots more with you soon xxx

This makes me so happy, I mean the pics you take on your iphone are beautiful but I love these, the quality and skill is there x
Thanks chick xx
Great post and your pictures are always so gorgeous. I use my iPhone all the time, especially for the baby x
Thanks my lovely xx
I love your photos! I find I have my Iphone constantly to hand so it’s easier to snap that funny, cute etc. moment.
Thanks lovely – it certainly is easier and I love my iPhone for capturing those little moments x
I’m the same! (not that I am actually a photographer and no way as talented as you at capturing my LG!) but I spent a fortune on a ‘proper camera’ which has been collecting dust for 6 months or so and tend to constantly snap on my iPhone… Better than getting no photos at all though I suppose 😉 x
Totally agree with that! I have 3 or 4 photo books filled with instagram photos and I love them, have taken some fab pics with my phone and have some superb memories captured! So much better than none x
Some stunning photos Sonia, wish I was able to take some lovely shots like you!
Thanks Mirka! Don’t be daft you have absolutely gorgeous photos on your blog!! x
