Hi everyone and welcome to August’s issue of This Mummy Loves… This post is all about everything that we have been loving over the last month. It is full of products that we have been sent to try, ones that we have bought ourselves and loved so much that we just had to share them with you and it is also full of things that we have loved doing too.
If you would like to have a product featured in the next edition of This Mummy Loves… which will be September 2019 now – please send me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to see if your product is suitable for us.
This is what we have been loving this month…
The lovely people at Mål Paper sent me this gorgeous Daily Goal Setter and it has quickly become my most used item on a day to day basis. As well as having pages for daily goals it also has pages for long term goals, medium term goals, monthly reviews and weekly reviews. It is absolutely brilliant! perfect for anyone who needs a little bit of organisation in their lives. Absolutely beautiful quality too. It is available in black, pink or grey for £20.95.
Bugs is loving his new divider plate set from I am Ecoist. It has a gorgeous sea world design and is perfect for fussy toddlers. The set includes a steel beaker and cutlery for £18.00. If you want sustainable, durable, zero waste everyday essentials to reduce the use of plastic in our daily lives then make sure you check out their website. They also have some great lunchboxes!
I received this fab gift from O’Keefe’s a few weeks ago and my feet have never felt or looked so good. These foot creams are absolutely brilliant, in a matter of days my feet had been transformed into gloriously soft & pretty tootsies!
We are busy getting ready to go back to school at the moment and one thing that both kids need is a decent quality pencil case. I found these amazing silicone pencil cases and just love them… I’m actually tempted to keep them both for myself. They’d make perfect make-up bags too! This poppy red bloomin’ bag (£15.00) is a great size and it is wipe clean too!
This navy blue pen tray case (£12.00) is brilliant as it folds completely flat so you can see everything that is inside without struggling to see what is at the bottom or tipping everything out. It is wipeable and made from a lovely soft, flexible silicone fabric.
I started subscribing to the Craft Gin Club a couple of months ago and I am hooked. It is such a nice treat when it arrives each month. You get the ingredients to make a perfect G&T and a cocktail each month which is just lovely and you get some gorgeous snacks to try too! If you use this link you can get £20 off your first box if you fancy trying it. You can cancel at any time 🙂
Bugs is enjoying his new bean bag armchair that we were sent a few weeks ago. It is the perfect gaming seat for him and I have been known to take it out into the garden to enjoy my book while they were at school… unfortunately I don’t seem to be able to get my hands on it now they are at home for the summer 😉
James and I had a day to ourselves before the kids broke up from school so we took the opportunity to explore some National Trust properties that we hadn’t been to yet. It was a gorgeous day and so nice to be able to spend some quality time together. We went out for a meal in the evening too which was lovely.
This month I’ve got through a few audiobooks including…
- After The End by Clare Mackintosh
- The Last Letter From Your Lover by Jojo Moyes
- Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty
- On A Beautiful Day by Lucy Diamond
- Strangeways by Neil Samworth
They were all great reads and I would recommend them all. I think my favourite was probably Nine Perfect Strangers, I really love Liane Moriarty especially Big Little Lies! Strangeways was a really interesting listen, it is a prison officers story and really quite an eye opener! Clare Mackintosh’s new book After The End is totally different to any book of hers I have read before and I found it quite complex to follow which means I probably need to read it again but it is such an incredibly moving story.
That is all for this month, don’t forget to contact me soon if you have a product that you would like to see in my next edition!
