August 17 – This Mummy Loves…

This Mummy Loves.../ TML Monthly

Welcome to August’s issue of This Mummy Loves… It’s been a while since I ran this feature so I thought I would start it up again seeing as I have so many awesome products to share with you. The products that we feature here are ones that we have been sent to try out or ones we have bought ourselves and loved over the last month.

If you would like to have a product featured in the September edition of This Mummy Loves… please send me an email to to see if your product is suitable.

Here are some products that we have loved this month…

The lovely people behind Angel and Rocket designer kids clothes sent Bugs this gorgeous outfit and we absolutely love it! The clothes are such fantastic quality and are so soft. Bugs really isn’t a fan of jeans as he finds them so restrictive but these are lovely and soft, he hasn’t complained about wearing them once. He loves the rocket print sweater, right now it is the one thing he wants to wear every single day and is very displeased when it is the wash! I really love this outfit and think he looks totally awesome 🙂

In my back to school guide a couple of weeks ago I talked about how we love Smash lunch boxes, I didn’t think we could love them anymore than we already did… and then this unicorn insulated backpack turned up on our doorstep. I know there are so many little unicorn lovers out there right now so this backpack is going to be very very popular! If you are lucky you will be able to find one in your local Tesco for just £10 or you can pop over here and enter to win one.

We are loving the new HARIBO Summer Frenzy Editions. HARIBO Starmix Berry Flavours include Pomegranate & Cranberry, Mixed Bery, Strawberry, Cherry, Raspberry, Blackberry and Blueberry. HARIBO Tangfastics Ice Cream and Sorbet Flavours include: Peach & Guava, Pink Grapefruit, Mango, Rhubarb & Custard, Peach, Passionfruit, Bubblegum and Watermelon.  We especially love the Tangfastics! They are delicious!

I was sent an Aquis Hair Towel to try out a few weeks ago and have already noticed that my hair is much less frizzy than it was before! I never imagined that the way I was drying my hair could actually be damaging it! My hair seems to dry much quicker and I get a lot less tangles since starting to use this! I absolutely love it and I am going to order Boo one of their hair turbans. To find out more go to

Sainsbury’s has launched a new and improved range of oral products under its name ‘OraCare’, designed to provide effective, affordable care for the whole family. The entire OraCare range has been awarded Oral Health Foundation accreditation, ensuring high standards of care you can trust at excellent value. Parents will be pleased to hear the complete OraCare Kids collection contains the recommended amount of fluoride to ensure maximum protection against cavities and support strong teeth from an early age. You can buy the full range online or in store now.

Bugs absolutely loves these new toothpastes and he is quite particular about what goes on his toothbrush, he loves the berry one which I find a bit strange but it makes him want to clean his teeth more and for longer then it’s a win win! I am obsessed with teeth cleaning as my teeth are not in very good condition so I am totally paranoid about my kids dental health.

Jelly Belly® has partnered with DC Comics to launch a Super Hero collection, featuring designs of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman and how awesome do they look! Each bag in the collection features the DC Super Hero Mix of Jelly Belly jelly beans, including shimmering versions of popular flavours Berry Blue, Blueberry, Cream Soda, Sour Lemon, Very Cherry and Wild Blackberry. They are absolutely delicious, my favourite flavour is shimmering sour lemon. Yummy!

My kids are loving these Lonely Planet Kids pull out frieze books at the moment. Each title charts a journey in a sensational fold-out wall frieze nearly two-metres long, which can be removed and displayed. With stunningly illustrated detail on one side, and fascinatingly evocative text from award-winning author Stewart Ross on the other, these books are designed to delight explorers aged seven and over. They cost £12.99 and are worth every penny. They contain so much information and incredible facts, the kids have loved learning all about the Nile and The Great Wall (and I have too).

I resubscribed to Glossy Box last month after having a couple of years off, I’ve had two boxes now and I just love it, I cannot wait to get my next box 🙂 If you love getting beauty products and fancy trying Glossy Box for yourself you can get your first box for just £6 + P&P

My current planner ends at the end of this month so I set about looking for a new one. I came across The Busy Days Planner on Instagram and fell head over heels with it! I ordered it on Amazon so it would come the next day because I currently have Amazon Prime. This planner starts at the beginning of September and finishes at the end of 2018 and it has so much space for everything that I need to for! Head over to Boxclever Press to find out more.

Well that’s all for this month, don’t forget to contact me soon if you have a product that you would like to see in my September edition!

We’ve had a problem with jeans too and have recently got around it by finding a soft pair. Makes shopping for my son’s clothes a bit easier as he can be tricky to buy for because of a slim waist.

My favourite would have to be the backpack! My youngest would love that too.
