Can you believe we are actually in the summer holidays now!! It has been one crazy year so far hasn’t it! We’ve been at home since the 17th of March and won’t be going away at all this summer so I’m desperately trying to keep the kids happy by coming up with different crafts and activities for them to do. I’m sure they’d be happy just to spend the whole summer on their various devices but I am really trying to inject a bit of creativity into our lives so I thought I’d share these awesome ideas with you just in case you are looking for some fab summer crafts too 🙂

I love these Water Bottle Wind Spirals, so easy to make and so pretty too. As well as keeping the kids happy I am really trying to brighten up our garden so these are just perfect for that.

This beautiful DIY Sun Catcher is another way of making the garden look pretty.

My kids always seem to have a big collection of pine cones as there are a few trees at the end of our street, so we are definitely going to have a go at this adorable Bead and Pinecone Mobile this summer.

Oh how I love this Tin Can Flower Garden! This is such a lovely way of getting the kids involved in the garden.

If you have a Pokemon fan like I do then they are going to just LOVE this Bulbasaur Planter.

Make friends with the local bird life by creating this fab looking DIY Birdhouse. We have so many cats around our neighbourhood so I’m always a little hesitant to try and draw birds in to the garden but we do love sitting to watch them.

These Garden Wind Spinners are another great way to brighten up the garden. I love how mesmerising these things can be.
