This year I have been a terrible reader, I am currently reading my second book! This really saddens me so I have decided to make it my goal to read a book every single week during 2015.
I love to read so this shouldn’t be a massive challenge, once I’m reading a good book I am hooked and don’t want to put it down!
Here is a list of some of the books that I intend to read, I own either the paper version or the kindle version of these books already, I love to buy books so I have acquired up quite a collection that I have wanted to read over the past few years… Now I just need to start reading them!

I know there are more than 52 books here and I probably won’t get round to reading more than one per week but I wanted to create a list of all the books that I own that I have yet to read. I am sure I will pick up more when I go shopping too!
If you have any great book recommendations then please leave them in the comments below, I love to hear about new books that I could discover. I will pick up anything and give it a go. I’ve read classics such as ‘The Turn of the Screw’ and ‘Lolita’ but am also happy with a Sophie Kinsella or Sheila O’Flanagan 😉
I’d like to take this opportunity to wish you all a VERY HAPPY New Year! xx

[…] I’m struggling with reading at the moment, I started off this year doing really well but I haven’t read in a few weeks now. I managed to read my book club book whilst I was on holiday, that was How I Lost You by Jenny Blackhurst and I really enjoyed that then I got half way through Pride and Prejudice on the Kindle and loved it so much I stopped to watch the TV Series and the film and haven’t picked it back up since. I will make it my goal to finish it this week though and get started on something else. I really need to catch up if I want to complete my 52 books project this year 😉 […]
I’m not a big reader really but there are a few in your list I would love to read. Gone girl is probably top of my list as well as the potter and twilight books. I would also like to read eat pray love, I have the blu Ray of the film but never watched it x. Hope you have a lovely reading year 😀
I’ve got about this many still to read as well. 2 years ago I managed to read 52, last year I totally failed, not reading any books from Apr to September. This year I’ve started again, so hopefully I’ll get through some of the books in my pile. The problem is, lots are paperback, which are harder to read in bed, than on my Kindle.
Good luck with your challenge
Ohh one a week, what a challenge. I can get through a book a week but then I got o bed far too late and don’t get all doen that I want, so good luck to you. You have a good eclectic selection there. Mich x
that is a long list! a few of them i want to read myself. harry potter doesn’t seem to appeal to me since it was released ages ago :/
I used to be an avid reader but sadly don’t read anymore. Le sigh.
You have some great selection of books there, I loved the Harry Potter books!
Good luck on reaching your goal!

I am also going to take up reading again; from tomorrow the mobile phone will be placed in the kitchen at 8pm and then I shall read a book instead of spending hours flitting between Facebook & Twitter. I have shelves full of books I have never read & I am going to change this.
Here’s to reading in 2015 🙂
