When I think back to 2014 I just remember blackness, the last part of the year was awful and 2015 so far has been the same, I’m getting lower and lower each day and I just have no idea how to dig myself out of it.
So I thought I’d go back through my instagram feed and choose my favourite photo from each month last year because it really can’t have been that bad can it!
In January we celebrated our tenth anniversary! We had an amazing day/night together while the kids stayed over at a friends!
In February I took the little ones to Build-a-Bear for Valentine’s day! It was a wonderful trip and the kids had the time of their lives!
I got to celebrate Mother’s Day in March by having a wonderful picnic with my three gorgeous kids!
April saw the kids cheering because they beat me to the top of the steps. We had such a fun day at the park and exploring the woods that day!
May saw us visit my sister Dawnie and her family! I just love it when we get all the cousins together.
In June I went down to Britmums Live with both of my sisters. This is a pic of me with my big sister Cathy, we don’t spend enough time together!
July saw us in the garden a lot! Bugs enjoyed mostly jumping in the paddling pool – it was such a delight to watch him squealing with joy 🙂
My baby turned 4 in August *sob* – he is such a wonderful, loving boy and we had such an awesome time celebrating!
A trip to Ragdale Hall for my birthday and an amazing night out with my other half while the kids spent the night at a friends. We had one of the best day/nights of our whole ten years together!
My oldest son turned 18 in October. I am so proud of this boy, he is an amazing person and I love him so much! I wish things could have been different for us in a way but I wouldn’t change him for the world!
In November we celebrated my Mum & Dad’s 50th wedding anniversary! The whole family got together to celebrate. It was so nice to see family that I hadn’t seen for years!
This has to be my favourite photo and moment in December, it was Boxing Day about 7pm and it was snowing heavily so I took the little ones for a walk in the snow, it was truly magical. We then went to the garden and made a huge pile of snowballs and waited for Daddy & Lero to get back from the pub/shop and then we had a huge snowball fight on the street. So much laughing :O)
So you see it’s not all bad, 2014 was a pretty great year looking back… I just wish I could be happier!
