20 Halloween Crafts for Kids

Activities/ Autumn/ Craft/ Halloween

It’s coming up to my children’s favourite time of the year again and they love nothing more than dressing up for Halloween and having a party with their friends. We love to get in the Halloween ‘spirit’ by doing a bit of Halloween crafting. It’s the perfect way to add a few decorations around the house for the big day. If you are looking for some Halloween crafts to do then you have come to the right place, here are our twenty favourite Halloween crafts for kids 🙂

This make your own handprint spider is totally adorable and perfect for the youngest of children! It is super easy and they look adorable if you hang them around the house… much more preferable to the real thing 😉

I used to love making paper lanterns as a child and I know my kids are going to love making these Halloween paper lanterns to add a spooky touch to our house.

How adorable are these toilet roll bat buddies? Super cute and so easy to make too!

I love these ghost treat boxes, they are perfect for filling with goodies to send little ghouls home with after your Halloween party.

There are so many paper plate ideas out there on the internet but I think my favourite has to be this paper plate dracula! I have a bit of a soft spot for a vampire 😉

This masking tape mummy is so easy to make, I think they’d look rather fun made into bunting 🙂

Turn your windows spooky with this awesome pumpkin silhouette.

If you are anything like me you will hate carving pumpkins so making these no carve Minion pumpkins is the perfect answer!

I’m a sucker for anything keepsake, so this pumpkin handprint and photo keepsake is perfect for using as a decoration year after year just to remember how teeny tiny they once were.

Show me a child that doesn’t like slime? Show me an adult that does 😉 These glitter slime monsters are awesome!

Make sure everyone knows to knock on your door with this gorgeous Halloween wreath!

This button witches hat is a gorgeous craft for an older child, I think Boo will just love having a go at this.

I could do with a bit of witch craft to help me get the kids in bed on Halloween 😉

I adore these easy patterned paper pumpkins, so easy to make and they just look so pretty.

I just love this mason jar ghost lantern, make sure you use the battery operated tea lights to stay safe! These are wonderful to put in your window on Halloween to let all the little ghouls know to come for a trick or treat 🙂

These footprint Frankensteins would make another great addition to the keepsake box!

Get the kids to act out their own Halloween puppet show after you’ve made some of these rather adorable monster stick puppets.

My daughter always loves to dress as a black cat at Halloween so she is going to love this black cat paper craft… hopefully it will bring us some good luck 😉

Everyone needs to make puffy ghosts at Halloween just like everyone should make a puffy snowman at Christmas!

Last but not least is Mr Frankenstein sun catcher, he’s another fab window decoration.

Well that’s it from us today, we will be back later this week with some more awesome Halloween ideas for you to enjoy! Which is your favourite from this lot?
