Can you feel it in the air? Autumn is here! I’m sat here with my heating on, curled up under a blanket writing this (working from home does have some benefits!). Today I have a bumper collection of awesome arts and activities for you to do with your children this Autumn. I have tried to cover all ages so there is something for children of all ages… even I wouldn’t mind having a go at some of them.Read more
Finally I am getting chance to sit down and update you all. It’s been three weeks since I last posted my happy days project, two of those we spent in Cornwall and then the last week has just been busy getting the kids ready to go back to school. We had a wonderful end to the summer holidays in Cornwall. A week spent in Falmouth and a week in Bude, we were so lucky with the weather which meant we were able to spend a large part of our holiday on the beach. Absolute bliss! Liam spent a week with us too which was wonderful to have all my three children on holiday together, for the first time in EIGHT years! Anyway I’ve got loads to share so I’ll get on with it…Read more
I have to say I often struggle to come up with family meals that all of us will love, something that I can cook when the kids have friends over or even when we have friends over and not go to a huge amount of trouble… because let’s be clear I love the socialising and eating part much more than the actual cooking part.Read more

The day ticket includes swimming with the inflatable & flume, a toboggan session and ice skating. Priced at £20.70 for adults and £19.70 for children which we think is brilliant value for a fun-packed day.Read more

If your household is anything like mine then your food bill will almost double during the school holidays because my kids seem to have bottomless pits for stomachs! They are constantly asking for something to eat and I am always looking for good honest healthy snacks that aren’t full of sugar. We recently discovered Pik-Nik Twiller snacks and I am over the moon because my kids love them! Pik-Nik are cheese sticks made of delicious creamy mozzarella and they taste extremely good!Read more
Disclosure: Some of the products that are featured in this post were sent for inclusion – as always all opinions are my own and I wouldn’t include something that I don’t personally love.
Today I am thinking about babies, we are due to have a new baby in the family soon so I thought I’d do a bit of research and find out what the ‘must have’ products are at the moment… it’s been a while since I did this for my little ones so I’m kinda out of the loop.Read more
