Sainsbury’s Tu Halloween Costumes Review

Halloween/ Review

It’s that time of year again when the kids are getting ready for the scariest night of the year, My kids love Halloween 🙂 We always have a party with all the other kids on the street and then go trick or treating; just on the street to the neighbours who already know we will be calling. They have such a great time as do the adults as it is probably the only time each year that we all get together for a gossip and a glass of the finest wine blood. Dressing up is always a big part of Halloween and the kids get very excited by this so they were overjoyed when the lovely people at Sainsbury’s got in touch to see if they’d like to review a Halloween costume each.

We’ve reviewed Sainsbury’s Halloween costumes before and can honestly say they are top quality, this year after all the fuss in the news about the flammability etc Sainsbury’s have made sure that their outfits meet the highest standards.

All Sainsbury’s dress-up is tested to European Toy (EN71), and the higher British nightwear flammability safety standard (BS5722 test 3) – the toughest safety standard that exists. Sainsbury’s also applies its own additional rigorous testing, which involves testing all elements of the garment to assess levels of risk and make products even safer.

Sainsbury’s have a huge selection of Halloween costumes for everyone and the prices are so reasonable there really is no need to shop elsewhere this Halloween 🙂

Boo was sent this Creepy Cobweb Witch Costume which costs from just £10.00! It is such a pretty green colour and has a lenticular scene on the chest panel which makes it really different to any witch costume I’ve seen before. It is a really pretty outfit which Boo loves!

Bugs can’t wait to go out scaring the neighbours in his Terrifying Tuxedo Zombie Costume which also starts at just £10.00. It comes with top, trousers, mask and hat and is available from 3-4yrs up to 11-12 years.

Head to your nearest Sainsbury’s to see their fantastic selection or check out the Halloween section over on the website 🙂

Have a very SPOOKY Halloween xxx

I have to confess to being worried about the flamability now, but it sounds like they’ve really thought about it so that is comforting.

Good on Sainsbury’s for all the product testing, especially after the big watchdog campaign last year. I know where I will be getting our costumes from now

Mini has picked a costume from Sainsbury’s this year. I love how they have taken on board the concerns about fire safety, although they are still no the same as clothes only nightwear which is less stringent. We have battery tealights and will be using them for Halloween, no naked flames here
