#Project365 – Week Thirty Nine

Project365

Wow can you believe October is here already! We have a really busy month in October as it is my other half’s birthday as well as Liam’s 21st and Boo’s 11th! I can never start thinking bout Christmas until the birthdays are over with. I’ve had a lovely week this week… meals out with my oldest, theatre visits with the girls. September was an such amazing month with all my 40th celebrations and I’m looking forward to what the rest of the year has in store for us 🙂

Day 267 – We did it! So proud of us both for running the Robin Hood Half Marathon last Sunday. I’ve been totally exhausted this week but it was worth it for the money we raised for Macmillan Cancer Support 🙂

Day 268 – Using my mac to do his digital homework. We really struggle to fit in the kids homework each week and I hate forcing them to do it when they spend so much time at school anyway. They only get two pieces each week thankfully but then are expected to read four times!! Do your kids get a lot of homework and how do you manage it?

Day 269 – Little dude was suffering with his asthma and couldn’t stop coughing last week. He got told off for coughing at school which I was pretty angry about. How can you tell a 7 year old off for coughing ffs!!!

Day 270 – Pjs and wine. I’d been out for a jog to see if my legs work after my half marathon so I did deserve it.

Day 271 – Went to watch Pride & Prejudice at Nottingham Playhouse on Thursday evening with the girls. It was a great production but I was so tired.

Day 272 – Little sleeping dude in a sea of Minions.

Day 273 – Liam came home for the weekend! It felt like I hadn’t seen him for months! We had such a lovely time and went out for a meal and some drinkies together last night.

That’s it for this week, see you next week! I love doing the photo a day project and would love to follow yours if you do it too so please leave me a comment to let me know and I’ll pop by and visit you.

Congrats on your half marathon! So pleased to see you did it after reading your previous post. Well done! My two eldest are year 3 and year 1 and in fairness they don’t get too much homework. My daughter in year 3 is great at doing it. She never needs to be asked. My son is not a fan at all!

Sounds like an amazing week! Well done on the half marathon, that is such a fantastic achievement. Homework is a nightmare here as they all seem to get loads and the boys, in particular, need constant nagging to do it. I can’t believe your son got told off for coughing, that is terrible, I would have been cross too.

We’re the same with homework at the moment, I’m expected to do some 5 days a week with my son which I think is too much. Am just hoping they don’t mention that I don’t do that much with him!

We struggle with homework too. I try to get it done on the weekend, but there’s a lot of moaning!
