#Project365 – Week Nine

Project365

Well I’m not sure we will be heading outdoors today, it is absolutely peeing it down here so I think I might tackle my mountain of ironing this morning and hope that it clears up this afternoon so we can get out for a walk or something. This week has been a busy one, I think we have something on after school every day now so we are struggling to keep up with reading, homework, piano practise etc so hopefully we will get chance to get some of that done today. We are just about to start decorating our living room so things are going to get rather crazy round here for a while, I am so excited to get it done 🙂

Day 57 – Last Sunday the kids had a Firefly driving lesson from Young Drivers. They had a lot of fun and learnt about road safety. You can see my blog post about it here if you are interested 🙂

Day 58 – I took this just after he got back from his first Beavers introduction session. He’s finally got a place after having his name down for over 2 years. He had an awesome time and made pancakes, he is very excited to go back this week.

Day 59 – We had lots of yummy pancakes on Shrove Tuesday and made sure we knew how to be safe in the kitchen and with thanks to the British Red Cross and their first aid aprons we knew just how to treat burns incase one of us burnt ourselves.

Day 61 – My kids are always very excited by World Book Day, this year they dressed up as the Madhatter and Sherlock Holmes. They had a great day, Bugs came home and told me about every single child and teacher in his class and what they dressed up as 🙂

Day 62 – Love this little dude so much, he is mostly always up for a selfie with Mum 😉

Day 63 – I made this Mini Egg Cheesecake and can confirm that it was absolutely delicious! I really love Jane’s Patisserie blog… she has so many amazing goodies! This year I have already made her Crunchie Fudge and Mint Aero Rocky Road and they were all totally amazing!

That’s it for this week, see you next week! I love doing the photo a day project and would love to follow yours if you do it too so please leave me a comment to let me know and I’ll pop by and visit you.

I love the World Book Day costumes! Thankfully both of mine had costumes this year that they could customise easily without the normal panic!

I love their world book day costumes!! My son’s school never done anything for it at all and my daughter’s nursery had the children bring in their favourite book and they could dress up with they wanted to.
