My Mother’s Day

My Mother’s Day

I was very lucky to be able to spend Mother’s Day with my three gorgeous children.

I was treated to a cup of tea in bed around 8am and presented with lots of lovely pressies from my two little ones. I had a lovely scarf, a teddy, some candles and some gorgeous flowers.

Then there was a knock at the door and I had flowers and chocolates delivered that had been ordered and sent by Lero – I really was such a lucky Mummy to have so many goodies!

We then drove to pick up Lero and went for a picnic at Chatsworth. It was so nice to sit and spend time with my three altogether.

After our picnic we went to my Mums with some pressies and spent some time there with my parents and my brother. It was so nice to see them all as we hadn’t seen them since just before Christmas.

We then went home and had a Chinese takeaway and munched on the choccies that Lero had sent.

It was such a lovely day. One of my favourite Mother’s Days to date, just spending time with my wonderful family and feeling relaxed! Not having to worry about anything because it was all taken care of for me.

Today it was back to earth with a bump ;)

  2. Sounds like a great day. I also got lots of presents, although all made at school or nursery – my favourite was a flip book with the reasons my daughter thinks I’m special :)
