I was trying to get my #LittleLoves post online yesterday but I couldn’t get anything to upload or publish on my blog for some reason but here we are better late than never 🙂
We have a busy weekend planned of shopping and visiting family which I am really looking forward to. Hope you all have an amazing weekend x
How to Crochet has been my bible for the past couple of weeks, it has really helped me to understand what I should be doing. I think I’ve mastered the basic stitches now so I am really looking forward to starting some more projects. I also really want to learn how to knit so will be purchasing this book soon too. I’ve been to busy to do any other actually reading which makes me sad, this time last year I had read six books but I’ve only managed to get through half a book so far this year so I am really going to try and finish that this week and move on to another.
I’ve never really been into the royal family, I mean I have nothing against them and I always love to watch the royal weddings and swoon over the gorgeous new princes and princesses that are born but that’s really were it ends so I’m not sure what made me want to watch The Crown on Netflix but I am SO pleased that I did! I just LOVED it and am now eagerly awaiting season three. The characters are so totally believable and Claire Foy’s performance as Elizabeth is unquestionable. I found myself feeling so very sad for her. Matt Smith is perfect as Prince Philip too! You must watch 🙂
I was listening to the #ThrowbackThursday playlist on Spotify yesterday, it was a 10 year throwback and I could not believe that the songs on it were from 2008 or that 2008 was TEN YEARS AGO!!! Where on earth is time going?!
I bought Jamie Oliver 5 Ingredients a few weeks ago and it has become my absolute favourite recipe book! Every meal has just five ingredients and are mostly really simple, quick recipes. My favourite dish so far has to be Hoisin Pak Choi Rice but we have also enjoyed Seared Sesame Tuna and Flaky Pastry Pesto Chicken this week too. This book has really helped me get out of a bit of a rut that I had got myself into with cooking the same meals week in week out and I cannot wait to make more.
Today I’m wearing new hair! It has been so long since I had my hair done and I was starting to feel like an old bedraggled witch. It’s not changed too much I just had a couple of inches off to tidy it up and I no longer have any grey so it feels so much better. I am so useless at getting my hair done, I really need to start booking an appointment more regularly to keep on top of it.
I’ve been feeling really down this week and am really struggling to get myself back into healthy eating and running. I know as soon as I do that I will feel so much better so please please please give me a kick up the bum to help get me back on track.
