Well this last week has certainly been eventful! School trips, Sports days and an amazing weekend away with my other half. I am so lucky to have a very good friend who is happy to look after my kids, this was the first time she had them over for two nights and I am so so thankful that I got to spend two wonderful nights away with my man. I feel so lucky right now

Bugs got some new specs. Of course he had to have a pair with Spider-Man on them. 😉
I was a bit sad to be leaving my babies on Friday morning, but knew they’d be really well looked after.
I LOVE my new Saltwater sandals!! I have to have more 😉
It was just so lovely to be able to sit and enjoy some time together.

We stayed at The St David’s Hotel in Cardiff Bay, it was gorgeous!
We were on the 6th floor and had amazing views out across the bay, pretty scary up there!
We enjoyed fish & chips at Barry Island on Saturday
Then we went for a speed boat ride, which was AWESOME!
We enjoyed lots of lovely cocktails…
This Pink Sherbet cocktail had to be my favourite of the weekend.

So yes it has been an amazing week, I’m now looking forward to getting the rest of this week out of the way and the kids breaking up for the summer at the end of the week.

Cardiff looks wonderful – we are hoping to go this year although I want to go to the Dr Who exhibition. Eliza had a school trip the day before they broke up but loved every minute!
