We were really excited to get invited to the Disney on Ice presents Silver Anniversary Celebration tour a couple of weeks ago. We have been to quite a few Disney on Ice shows now, they are also great fun and very entertaining! Disney always know how to put on a fantastic show.

Waiting for the show to start
We were very close to the front this time but unfortunately these seats weren’t as good as the ones we have had before which have always been higher up. So if you are booking make sure you go a bit higher as we were obstructed a little by the two rows of people that were around the ice rink.

Selfie time
We always have to have a selfie while we are waiting for the show to start 😉 There were five of us who went to see the show, my friend and her two daughters came along with us but prefer not to have their photographs on the blog. We left the boys at home and had a girlie day, it was so lovely to get to spend time with my Boo and our friends. They are Disney fans too so I always like to invite them along.
This year the show included The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan and Frozen. As always Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck are there to introduce and set the scene. There really is something for everyone… beautiful singing, skating, acting. If you love Disney then you really must go to a Disney on Ice at some point 🙂
I was a little let down by this years Disney on Ice to be honest as I felt like I had seen it all before, last year the Magical Ice Festival was my absolute favourite it moved me to tears… I don’t think it will be beaten but even though the show didn’t hit the top spot for me it was still a wonderful show. We really loved seeing The Lion King and Peter Pan this year, the girls loved Tinkerbell and Frozen!
Unfortunately the silver anniversary celebration tour is over now but check out the preview of the new tour ‘Frozen‘ starting in October 16.
* We received free tickets for the show in exchange for this review. All thoughts are my own and completely honest.
