A yummy snack called Knoppers have just launched in the UK and today we are going to tell you all about them! Knoppers first launched in Germany in 1983 and are a very popular snack in more than 50 countries! I’m not sure why it’s taken them so long to get to the UK but boy oh boy are we glad they have! I don’t know about you but the summer holidays really wear me out. This year more than any other year because not only have I got the kids at home every day and we are trying to pack our days with lots of fun activities, I’m also trying to keep on top of work and train for my half marathon next month too! If you sit and think for a little while I am sure that you can think of one single person or one group of people that have gone out of their way to help out another person or indeed an entire community. These people do whatever they can to help out and generally go unnoticed and often without thanks!
You would think that as a parent of children that suffer with asthma and other allergies I might have previously shown some concern with the air they breathe, but it has never really been something that I thought about affecting them. I wasn’t surprised to find out that I wasn’t alone, we seem to spend so much time thinking about what food and drink we put inside ourselves but not about the air we breathe. So when Philips got in touch with me to see if I’d like to take part in the #BreatheTheDifference campaign I had my eyes opened a little!
