#Project365 – Week Thirty Four

Project365

I don’t know about you but right now I am feeling very ready to get the kids back to school so we can get into some sort of routine again. I get no ‘me time’ what so ever during the holidays so I am very ready for just an hour or so to myself to catch up on some work or sit with a coffee and watch Netflix for an hour! The kids are sick of the sight of each other too and I am sick of being a constant referee! They behave wonderfully when they are on their own but once they are together they turn into tiny devils!

#Project365 – Week Thirty Three

Project365

Blimey these weeks are flying by aren’t they! Just two weeks of the summer holidays left now! I think the kids are ready to head back to school now in all honesty and I am certainly ready for a bit of me time and catching up on work time! Life is all about half marathon training right now and I will be so pleased when the 24th of September is over so we can relax a little bit. It’s my 40th birthday in a couple of weeks and there is an awful lot of secret things going on around me at the moment, I can’t get anything out of the kids no matter how much I offer to pay them though… so I guess I will just have to be patient 😉 Read more

#Project365 – Week Thirty Two

Project365

We had a really quiet week at home this week, Boo went to stay with my big sister for a few days so it was just Bugs and I for most of the week. He went on a couple of play dates and I got to enjoy a bit of time to myself. I can feel bad at times for not taking the kids out and doing loads of summer activities especially when looking at everyone’s summer photos on Facebook and Instagram! Everyone seems to be on holiday or at the beach, theme parks etc but I have to remind myself that we have already had a two week holiday in June and the kids are far luckier than I ever was when it comes to days out, holidays etc so spending some time at home really isn’t a bad thing!

#Project365 – Week Thirty One

Project365

Yesterday the baby of the family turned seven and we’ve been busy celebrating. He was much better this week so he was able to go to football everyday which he absolutely loved. He had his party on Friday and then Liam came home and we celebrated as a family yesterday. It was so nice to have all of my kids together for a couple of days. Sadly Liam has gone back home today as he has to work tonight but we should be seeing more of him after the summer as he is changing universities to be closer to home. Read more

#Project365 – Week Thirty

Project365

Well our first week of the holidays got off to a rather poor start as Bugs wasn’t very well. He was supposed to go to football camp everyday last week but his asthma was so bad last Monday that I decided to keep him at home. He has gone this morning although I was rather reluctant to send him still, he must be ok though as they haven’t phoned me to go and fetch him yet. Here is our last week in pictures… Read more

#Project365 – Week Twenty Nine

Project365

Well the holidays have got off to the usual brilliant start with poorly kids! Bugs was supposed to go on a football course everyday this week but he has terrible asthma so I’ve postponed that until next week, hopefully he will be much better then. As we have been stuck indoors we have been having a massive clear out, the kids are helping too seeing as we are turning my old office into a playroom for them so they are very eager to get that done! Looks like I’l be working from the dining table in future… I’ve got a huge list of blog posts to write so I’m hoping to get chance to do those over the holidays 😉 Read more

#Project365 – Week Twenty Eight

Project365

Excitement levels are really high in our house at the moment. Bugs just has one day left at school and Boo has two, although you can’t really call it school with all the fun they have been having for the last week or so! Discos, concerts, movies, picnics… I seriously wish I could go off to school! As always I am really ready for them to break up for the summer but not as ready as I will be for them to go back in September 😉 I love having them home but 6 weeks is a long time and they really do miss going towards the last couple of weeks. We have nothing planned yet for the summer as we have already had our two weeks in the sun but I’m hoping to get away for at least a few days. What have you all got planned? Read more
