A Very Cosy Night In

A Very Cosy Night In

The lovely people at Debenhams sent me all the ingredients for a cosy night in recently. I was asked to choose from one of their teapots, yankee candles and a cushion, I was also sent tea, wine, biscuits, nail polish and a DVD of my choice.

I chose this absolutely gorgeous Rocha.John Rocha platinum etch teapot which is just stunning and such a perfect size as it holds around 5 mugs of tea; so I was able to make one pot and we got a couple of mugs each while we watched the film ‘We’re the Millers’ which isn’t as great as I thought it was going to be but still worth a watch and properly funny in places!

I also chose this navy spotted cushion by Jasper Conran which I am over the moon with and it has been used on many occasions to hide behind now whilst I’m watching Vampire Diaires ;) I do love a good cushion and this one is perfectly squishy and just right for a hug! The last thing I got to choose was a Yankee Candle and I chose a large Vanilla Lime housewarmer candle which smells heavenly!

Being a Mum I don’t get to treat myself very often so this was a wonderful parcel to receive and I love everything that I received. My OH and I snuggled down one evening with our film, a pot of tea, wine chilling in the fridge and munched on biscuits and had a lovely cosy evening in together!

The biscuits we were sent were absolutely gorgeous too look at and tasted divine! I think I might have actually done a little squeal when I saw them! Little touches like this are what makes these kind of campaigns perfect, they don’t happen too often but when it does it makes me very happy!

Cosy nights in are a favourite of ours because we don’t have much other choice, so we try and make the most of them! Being parents with no support network is hard word so little treats like this really do mean the world to us!

A huge thank you to Debenhams for spoiling us :O)
