You know when you wake up and think “OMG! What have I done?” today was one of those moments… Last night after a few glasses of prosecco (yes I know it was a school night, it was our anniversary) I decided it would be a great idea to sign myself and my other half up to do the Robin Hood Half Marathon!!!!! I don’t feel quite so confident and invincible today hahaha! Read more
Hi everyone 🙂 I can’t believe it’s Monday again already and we only have this week left at school and then it’s half term! We are really busy getting sorted to go on holiday at the moment so things are going to be pretty quiet around here for a while. I’m hoping I will come back totally refreshed and fall back in love with blogging because recently it has just become a bit of a chore. Have you got any nice plans for half term?
Here are my latest photos from our photo a day project… Read more
Another week has just whizzed by and I’ve just realised there are only two weeks left at school before half term!! Wow! This year is really flying by. Our holiday to the Dominican Republic is getting closer and closer and I am really excited now! The kids are really excited too! I just cannot wait to relax and not do anything for two whole weeks! It will be our first all inclusive beach holiday as a family, a first for all of us really as none of us have ever done all inclusive before… I’m trying not to get too excited just in case it is a total let down 😉
Good morning everyone. Hope you are all OK and had a great weekend. My weekend has been full of gardening, kids parties, piano lessons and just doing stuff around the house really. Nothing exciting to report this week. I am so focused on getting everything ready for our holiday and just cannot wait now. I went shopping last week and bought some lovely new dresses, Boo has had lots of new summer clothes and I need to kit Bugs out too. If anyone has any recommendations for kids sandals that would be great as I am struggling to find some we like xx Read more
I have been really useless with blogging recently, we’ve been so busy with decorating and trying to sort things out at home that I just haven’t had the time or desire really to sit and write so today I thought I’d sit and join in with #Littleloves again. I love this linky and just wish I could commit to it every week. Read more
A couple of weeks ago Bugs found out he has got a place at his first choice junior school in September. He is very excited about starting junior school and being really grown up. The first thing he wanted to do was to get a backpack so he can take all of his belongings with him. Luckily for him the lovely people at Noisy Sauce sent him one of their Minecraft Creeper Backpacks to review… Read more
Last week was a good week!! The kids went back to school and I managed to get organised, get the house cleaned and have a new carpet fitted! I also got to have a meal with friends and have a meal out with family. I can’t believe it is May now! This year is just flying by! I am so looking forward to seeing what May has in store for us. We are now counting down to our holiday in the Dominican Republic and are all so excited!
I arrived home last week to find the biggest box I had ever seen in my hallway… However it wasn’t the box which was the surprise, it was the fantastic product inside! Bugs had just finished learning to ride on a second hand bike, which is now far too small and was ready for an upgrade. So when Ridgeback Bikes got in touch to see if Bugs would like a bike to review it could not have come at a more perfect time!
